WHO WE ARE

The End Stigma End HIV Alliance is a collaboration of all the HIV and AIDS organizations in San Antonio that are committed to destigmatizing and ending the HIV epidemic.

We are a group of people living with HIV, social service providers, health service providers, government organizations, and academics that are passionate about changing the way the San Antonio community sees and talks about HIV in both the community and healthcare environments.

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT

To end HIV, we need to increase testing, improve linkage to care, and ensure long-term engagement in that care. The HIV stigma makes achieving all of those things even more difficult.

Together, we must not be afraid to talk about it and raise awareness within our community about pivotal changes that can be made to education, prevention, and treatment to create a stigma-free San Antonio.

ZERO HIV IS A POSSIBILITY WHEN WE END THE STIGMA

People living with HIV enjoy long, healthy lives if they start prompt treatment and stay in care.

HIV is preventable with a safe daily pill that is 99% effective.

Undetectable = Untransmittable - People whose HIV is undetectable for at least 6 months have almost no chance of transmitting the virus to a partner.
